Okay, I think I shorted Fleet Foxes in that last post. I did have a similar immediate obsession with them; it just didn’t involve as much digging online, so that’s why it feels new. But they have definitely been my favorite band of 2008, with CSS coming in second, I believe.

I think I have a new favorite band. It’s a sad truth, but it’s unusual these days for me to go look up a band’s website, myspace and youtube, read their bio, and try to tell who’s who in their pictures. Really odd, considering that’s almost all I did in high school… with the exception of ‘myspace and youtube’ which weren’t around. But...
