Dear Loser,

Thank you for sending your demo materials to Sub Pop for consideration.

Presently, your demo package is one of a massive quantity of commendable material we receive every day at Sub Pop World Headquarters, and is (due to time and volume restrictions) on it’s way through the great lower intestine that is the talent-acquisition process*.

We appreciate your interest in Sub Pop and wish you the best in your pursuit.

Kind Regards.

Good article, especially all the references in movies to insults about characters not being able to drive.  I never even noticed that before.  I think it is because movies are made in L.A. where the public transportation is still sub-par.  The part about 500 Days of Summer being originally set in San Francisco makes a WHOLE lot of sense.  I couldn’t be sure exactly where they were for most of that movie!
